September

Well it's September and I can't believe it's nearly autumn and my eldest niece is goping to be 5 this week. I remember being at the hopsital hours after she was born. She has a strong mind and it showed in her photos taken in hospital. Like most kids her age she says what she thinks and can be so funny.
Now back to knitting. Pampas has come out OK except for the sleeves which are a bit long. Have nearly finished Sophie from Jaeger Book 39 a short sleeved top I decided to knit in Roma instead of Aqua. It's mainly for work but we shall see.
We are now the proud owners ( or should I say hubbie is) of a smart car cabriolet (I call it hubbies midlife crisis car) Hubby will be driving it in the London to Brighton run on the 24th with loads of other smarts. He was going to take daughter 1s Smart but has said that he will decide when he sees the weather report!! Daugher 1 will be working and she wants her car to do the run daughter 2 who is going on the run with dad wants to take the cabriolet.Which daughter will win? the weather decides!
Son in Law has asked for tank top to be made into a cushion or has said I can sell it on E-Bay ( how generous of him!!!!) Apparently he's bringing it on Friday hmmm we shall see
